This sweet, exciting, and vivid play is about storytelling, about the early days of radio broadcasting on the Prairies, and about a long-time love between Davey Quinn and an amazing blind girl, Frankie. Part of the adventure of his youth, she becomes an almost mythic personality though his stories, which bring him to considerable fame, and an unexpected reunion with a very different woman much later in their lives.

15th Annual Juan de Fuca Festival

Memorial Day Weekend, May 23-26, 2008

   In Beautiful Port Angeles, Washington

THE JUAN DE FUCA FESTIVAL OF THE ARTS ushers in the summer season, Memorial Day weekend,
May 23 – 26th, 2008, in Port Angeles, Washington, with outstanding music, dance, theater,
storytelling, and children’s performances on six stages throughout the holiday weekend.
In addition to the live performances, the festival site offers a street fair brimming with plentiful food,
artisan wares, and roving musicians.

Over 450 musicians will perform on six different stages. Several intimate theaters showcase
intimate performances. Two larger stages are set up for larger performance groups and dancing.

There is something for everybody at the Juan de Fuca festival. In addition to the music and dance performances and workshops, the festival provides FREE children’s activities Saturday through Monday, an exciting street fair with delicious food and colorful and unique arts and crafts, roving musicians, dancers, and mimes.

Advance Four-day Festival passes are on sale for only $43 and will be mailed after May 10, 2008.
Children 12 and under are FREE. Day bracelets at $14 may be purchased at the gate each day.
Monday is student half off day at $7.
