The Peninsula Men's Gospel Singers is a group of Christian men, from several local churches, who love to sing of the glad tidings of God's love, salvation and the kingdom of God as announced to the world by Jesus Christ.

Saturday evening, March 22, at 7pm, these men will present the 11th Annual Spring Concert for our community in the Port Angeles High School Performing Arts Center, 304 E. Park Ave.

Reserved seats at the evening concert are $17 and $12 (students $10). Also performing are Hillary and Kate, a young Gospel-Folk duo, from Southern California; as well as, Sharon Snel (Flute) and John Manno (Harp).

There's something timeless and stirring about the music of HILARY AND KATE. As their voices, guitar, and violin intertwine, they conjure up echoes of time-honored musical traditions rooted in Americana folk, bluegrass, and Celtic music while putting a fresh spin on these sounds as only young artists can.

In early 2012, Hilary and Kate began playing and recording together. Hilary was already seasoned from years of touring both solo acoustic and with her full band. But Kate brought something new and unique with her voice and violin that instantly clicked. 2012 ended up being full of rich blessing for Hilary and Kate, with extensive tours throughout the continental US, Italy, the UK, Hungary, Norway, the Netherlands, Germany, and Hawaii.

The hard work of those tours paid off with rave reviews and a rapidly growing grass-roots fan base, as well as their first six-song EP Mostly Unplugged and Practically Live, which featured live favorite "You Will Come" and a phenomenal version of the classic "Be Thou My Vision."

Hilary and Kate's combined talents make for a fresh and compelling musical partnership that is not to be missed. PMGS welcomes them to the Port Angeles stage and hopes that you are blessed by their music!

"An exceptional talent and a true servant's heart." -- John Collins, Harvest Christian Fellowship, Riverside, Calif.

Donate to The Friends of the PaPAC

The Friends of the Port Angeles Performing Arts Center is a community based group tasked with identifying technical upgrades needed in the PAHS Auditorium also known as the Performing Arts Center.

In the past few months we have raised $15,000 from the community, and have added lights to the apron of the stage; built a production desk in the auditorium to house the sound and light equipment needed to run the first rate shows that we have become used to; work is underway on a Performing Arts Center sign being built be the metalworking shop at the high school that will go at the end of the covered hallway heading to the Foyer stairs from the front of the school; we designed and purchased a curtain wall that will divide the huge auditorium into smaller more intimate houses of what ever size is needed; we are building a recognition wall to recognize the community members who have given to this great cause; and many more projects are on the horizon, just waiting for more funds.

Please join this wonderful community effort.
