Then God said "Let there be Chocolate",
and there was Chocolate.

God saw that the Chocolate was good, and separated the Light from the Dark.

Harry Lillis "Bing" Crosby (May 3, 1903 - October 14, 1977) was an American singer and actor whose career lasted from 1926 until his death in 1977. From 1934 to 1954 Bing Crosby held a nearly unrivaled command of record sales, radio ratings and motion picture grosses. He is usually considered to be a member of popular music's "holy trinity" of ultra-icons, alongside Elvis Presley and The Beatles, and is currently the most electronically recorded human voice in history.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average recovered early in 1930, only to reverse once again, eventually hitting the bottom of the bear market in 1932. After 1930, the market did not come back to pre-1929 levels until 1955.[

29

The The Wall Street Crash of 1929, also called the Great Crash or the Crash of '29, was the stock-market crash that occurred in late October 1929. It started on 29 October 1929 ("Black Tuesday"), when share prices on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) collapsed. However, the days leading up to the 29th had also seen enormous stock-market upheaval, with panic selling and vast levels of trading interspersed with brief periods of recovery.

Anyone who bought stocks in mid-1929 and held on to them saw most of his adult life pass by before getting back to even.

TOMMY DORSEY'S BIRTHDAY 1905

Today is 40's big band leader Tommy Dorsey's birthday. Dorsey launched Sinatra's career into stardom.
The big band era lasted only a brief moment. Yet, their music played a central role in lifting the morale of the troops during World War II. This music, when done well and tight, sends chills up the spine.

Ludwig van Beethoven (baptised December 17, 1770 - March 26, 1827) was a German composer.  He is generally regarded as one of the greatest composers in the history of music, and was the predominant figure in the transitional period between the Classical and Romantic eras in Western classical music. His reputation and genius have inspired—and in many cases intimidated—ensuing generations of composers, musicians, and audiences. While primarily known today as a composer, he was also a celebrated pianist and conductor, and an accomplished violinist.
